LEAFSPRING SCHOOL AT BALLANTYNE INFANT TEACHER WINS N.C. CHILDCARE HERO AWARD

Ms. Essence Walker is one of our phenomenal Infant Room teachers at LeafSpring School Ballantyne, and very deserving of the honors recently bestowed upon her by the North Carolina Early Childhood Coalition, taking top honors and winning the NC Childcare Hero Award.

 The Outstanding Early Education Advocate Awards were created to honor and recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to advocate on behalf of young children, their families, their educators, and the early childhood system in North Carolina.

 Essence shared that in light of the tough year past, the recognition revived her spirit for our industry. The award confirmed that she should continue in this work and answer the call to continue to support her babies and their families, while being a voice for others.

 Congratulations Ms. Essence! You are respected, loved and admired, and so very deserving of this honor!
